So 2013 came with an appropriate dress to celebrate it. I spent Christmas at home and in January I went back to Milan, to the huge Italian room that I loved. Miki came to visit me thas month. That year we could saw eachother every month at least once. It is ironic that despite the distance, he in Dublin and me in Milan, thanks to all the traveling, I remember my Erasmus year with him.
El viaje con Miki a Florencia fue memorable. Yo había estado ya pero para él era la primera vez. Madrugamos tanto que tuvimos la ciudad para nosotros solos durante unas horas. Esta vez me pareció mucho más impresionante que la primera.
The trip to Florence with Miki was memorable. I had already been there but it was his first time. We got up early so we had the whole city to ourselves for a few hours. This time I found it much more impressive than the first one.
En Febrero me tocó visita a mí. Fui a Dublin por segunda vez. Me enamoré de esa ciudad y me quede con ganas de ir una tercera vez. Es muy bonita y acogedora y además esta vez vi los sitios no tan típicos de la ciudad.
In February was my turn to visit so I went to Dublin for the second time. I felt in love with this city and I'd love to go there a third time. It's a nice and cozy city, plus this second time I saw the not-so-typical places of the city.
When I return to Milan the Fashion week was waiting for me and also a long-awaited visit. Silvia and Javo came from Madrid to see me and to attend the fashion week. Although it had an indescribable cold it was worth it.
Recuerdo mis viajes en tranvía por Milán. Eran muy antiguos y tenían mucho encanto. Me encantaba ver la ciudad desde ellos. Ese mes nos tocó encuentro en Berlín. Nunca había estado y me habían hablado maravillas de esta ciudad. A mi sin embargo me sorprendió bastante, me dejó algo vacía, quizás llevaba unas expectativas muy altas.
I remember my tram times around Milan. They were very old and had a lot of charm. I loved seeing the city from the inside. That month we meet in Berlin. I had never been there but I had heard wonderful things about this city. However it surprised me quite a lot, It left me a bit empty, maybe I went with very high expectations.
En semana santa volví a Madrid a pasar unos días con mi familia. Así que ese mes estuve en la Plaza del Duomo, en la Puerta del Sol y en el Monumento a los Judíos.
In Easter I went to Madrid to spend a week with my family. So this month I was in Piazza del Duomo, in the Puerta del Sol and the Jews Monument.
Además empecé a trabajar como modelo de maquillaje en una agencia en Milán y fue muy divertido. Aprendí mucho y pase muy buenos ratos.

Verona tiene algo. Fui una y mil veces y siempre veía otra cara de ella. Ese mes vino a verme Miki y no podía no llevarle a la ciudad de Romeo y Julieta. Además fuimos al Lago Maggiore. Para mí el mejor lago de los alrededores de Milán. El Lago de Como es más conocido pero a mi me pareció este mucho más bonito. Pude ir a la exposición de The Little Black Jacket en Milan, la muestra de fotografías por Karl Lagerfeld. Fue impresionante, las fotos y el sitio de la exposición y además me llevé un par de posters preciosos que ahora, enmarcados, cuelgan de mi habitación de Madrid.

Verona has something. I have been there a thousand times and always saw another side of it. That month Miki came to see me I could not resist to take him to the city of Romeo and Juliet. We also went to Lake Maggiore. For me the best lake around Milan. Lake Como is well known but I found this one much nicer. I could also go to the The Little Black Jacket exhibition in Milan, the one of photos by Karl Lagerfeld. It was really awesome, the photos and the place, I also took a couple of beautiful posters now framed, hanging in my room in Madrid.
También vino Tere, mi hermana pequeña, y se moría de ganas por conocer Verona, la ciudad de la película de Cartas a Julieta, que podremos haber visto juntas mil veces. Así que otra vez a Verona! Menos mal que con Inés y Maria ya estuve allí años atrás.
May was the month of the visits. Maria and Ines came to visit me. They are some of my oldest friends and we had a really good time. I show them the city and we spent hours catching up in the Marc Jacobs Cafe, my favorite place at the Italian aperitivo time.
Tere also came, my little sister, and she was dying to visit Verona, the city where the movie, Letters to Juliet took place, which we have seen a thousand times together. So back to Verona! Luckily Maria, ines and I went to Verona together years ago.
Ese mes ya era consciente de que mi año en Italia acababa y lo aproveché al máximo.
Rome, the eternal City. In late May-early June Miki came to see me again. He had just ended his Erasmus and he sent his things to Madrid, then he came to see me one last time before returning. Rome was one of the best trips I've ever done. I've been there long time ago, but just a few days, and you can't imagine how much I enjoyed this time. I think we saw absolutely everything and we didn't care about the hot as hell It was.
That month I started thinking that my year in Italy was comming to the end so I enjoyed it my best.
We also went to Frankfurt to see a friend. I loved it. It was a trip that I was not expecting to like that much. It was a very surprising and weird trip.
My goodbye. The last days in Milan my father came to visit me. Maybe this way it will not be so hard. We made one last farewell tour. A lovely trip by the Italian coast: Porfino and Cinqueterre. Now I can say, Italy is awesome. I have a huge feeling with this country. Wherever you go is beautiful, it has a history, it has charm. Even though people say that Milan is ugly, I disagree. It turned to be a perfect and beautiful city to live.
Vuelta a Madrid. Deshacer cajas, ver a mis amigos y volver a disfrutar de mi ciudad favorita.
No podía volver y parar de viajar de golpe, no es sano! hay que dejarlo poco a poco :) así que nos fuimos Miki y yo a Oporto. Otro viaje sorprendente. No me lo imaginaba así para nada. Es un viaje precioso y se puede ir en coche. Muy recomendable.
Back to Madrid. Undoing boxes, seeing my friends and getting back to enjoy my favorite city.
El resto del verano fue como los demás. Me encanta seguir las tradiciones, unos días en la fiesta de mi pueblo de Asturias y otros días de relax en Galicia en la playa.
The rest of the summer was like the others. I love traditions, a few days in my lovely village in Asturias and other days relaxing on the beach in Galicia.
Back to school! And it was a month full of events. Taking advantage of the last days of urban terraces. Back to class was not as bad as I thought. The return was not that hard. I loved my Erasmus year but I have no complaints about my life in Madrid so it was great to be here again.

In November Miki and I went to the beach. To the Galicia's apartment. I had never been there in fall. I charged my battery as soon as I see the sea. Just two days and I came back new.
