LONDON TRAVEL GUIDE | DAY 2 | NOTTING HILL, TOWER BRIDGE, LONDON EYE & ST JAMES PARK

Tienen mucha fama los brunch de Londres y como queríamos conocer la zona de Notting Hill fuimos a uno de sus brunch recomendados, Golborne deli que estaba cerca de la ruta que queríamos hacer. Notting hill es una zona muy bonita y residencial que está bien para pasear sin rumbo y conocerlo. Me gustó mucho también la calle de Portobello, tienen muchas tiendecitas y allí compré esta bolsa de rafia que me encantó. Hicimos la ruta de escenas de la pelicula de Notting Hill :).
Brunch in London is so famous and as we wanted to know Notting Hill we went to one of their recommended places to have a brunch, Golborne deli that was close to the route we wanted to make.
Notting Hill is a very nice and residential area that is good for walking and getting to know it. I also liked Portobello st a lot, they have many shops and I bought this raffia bag that I loved. We made the Notting Hill movie scenes path.

Después dimo una vuelta por la zona del London Eye, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace y St. James park. La verdad es que me decepcionó un poco el Buckingham Palace, la zona delantera y es una explanada vacía llena de vallas bastante desoladora. Supongo que me lo imaginaba más glamuroso.
El parque de St James es muy bonito y me encantan las sillas que hay de repente en medio de la hierva donde (si pagas) puedes sentarte a pasar el rato.
After a tour around the London Eye area, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and St. James park. The truth is that I was a little disappointed Buckingham Palace, the front area is an empty esplanade full of fences and quite desolate. I guess I expected it more glamorous.
St James Park is beautiful and I love the chairs that are suddenly in the middle of the grass where (if you pay) you can sit and hang out.
Por la tarde empezó a llover intermitentemente, de hecho la siguiente foto de la cabina la hice en plena lluvia, íbamos corriendo de un sitio a otro y cuando la vimos paramos y en tres segundos hicimos la foto. La verdad es que es una de mis fotos favoritas.
In the afternoon it started to rain intermittently, in fact the next cabin photo was made in the rain, we were running from one place to another and when we saw it we stopped and in three seconds we took the photo. Actually is one of my favorite photos.
Lo mismo pasó aquí, estábamos viendo el Tower Bridge y haciendo fotos y de repente empezó a llover con todas sus fuerzas y tuvimos que refugiarnos en la terraza de un hotel que había al lado. La terraza era ideal y tenia muy buenas vistas, estuvimos genial allí hasta que pasó la tormenta.
The same happened here, we were seeing the Tower Bridge and taking some pictures and suddenly it started to rain so hard and we had to cover ourselves on a nice terrace over the river at a hotel that has expectacular views. We were great there until the storm stopped.
Ese día cenamos en Dinerama, una especie de zona de street food con diferentes puestos donde cogías la comida que te gustaba y la comías en una zona de mesas en el centro. Estaba genial y el ambiente era muy bueno.
That day we had dined in Dinerama, a kind of street food place with different stalls where you took the food you liked and ate it in a central area full of tables. It was great and the atmosphere was very good.
