LOS ANGELES | NEW YEAR'S EVE IN MALIBU BEACH

LOCATION: Malibu Beach, Los Angeles, California.

(sigue leyendo).

We will never forget that New Year's eve. The post is called New Year's Eve in Malibu because really, for me, it was where we actually lived the end of the year .
We booked dinner at a restaurant and a masquerade ball on the rooftop to receive the year, but for us the new year arrive at 3 p.m.
We decided to go to Malibu to spend the day at the beach lying on the sand relaxed chatting and watching the sea. Malibu beach is beautiful, but it does not have much either. There is a very cute pier with an ideal restaurant where we had a great time.
We took a good load of grapes to keep with the tradition, and when midnight arrived to Spain we ate our 12 grapes in broad daylight. And thanks we ate them! (keep reading).

I WAS WEARING: Nice things top, pants | Kiabi jeans | Zara Shoes

After having lunch in Malibu ... the traditional coffee and sunset plan in Santa Monica. And when the sun went down we went home to get dress.

Like this:

Dinner at E.P&L.P. It was great, we had a great time fixing the world while for the rest of the restaurant ignored that 2019 had already arrived a few hours ago. When we finished dinner it was 9 p.m. (we had dinner at 7 in the afternoon because apparently there is quite commun) and we went to the mascarade party to the rooftop full of people with ideal masks, although not as cool as our.
I remember being excited to live in Los Angeles the end of the year at a great party. Would it be like in the movies? Countdown and kiss under the mistletoe (although there was no mistletoe anywhere ...). Well I was a big disappointment.
It turns out that the music, which was on top, changed rhythm just for 5 seconds when people started the countdown from 5 (from 5 !!! not even from 10!) And then shouted over the music Happy New Year!. Someone hugged, barely any kisses (I even was a bit shy to kiss my friends hahaha), and the music kept going and people kept dancing  with the same enthusiasm as six seconds ago.
Come on!, if you get caught in the bathroom line, you will miss it ! and you will be stucked in 2018.
I come back from L.A. with the firm conviction that spanish people know how to celebrate important things. And this is not a cliché, this is real.
The best part of the night was when we left, we were posing on each corner. Like this:
