Me encantan este tipo de libros ilustrados de fotografías y texto. Tengo varios de estilo y de cocina. Cuando me enteré que Haylie Duff había sacado su propio libro de cocina "The real girl's kitchen" supe que quería tenerlo en mi estantería con otros libros como el de Rachel Zoe, el de cocina de Mujeres desesperadas, el de Lauren Conrad, el de Sex and the City o el de las gemelas Olsen. Mi estantería siempre tiene un apartado de americanadas y cómo se acerca mi cumpleaños me lo autoregalé. Es precioso, esta editado muy cuidadosamente con una fotos muy bien elegidas y lleno de recetas sanas y variadas.

I love this kind of books full of photos and text. I have several ones about style and cuisine. When I found out that Haylie Duff had published hes own cookbook "The real girl's kitchen" I knew I wanted it to be on my rack with other books like Rachel Zoe's, the Desperate Housewives  kitchen, the Lauren Conrad's, the Sex and the City's or the Olsen twins'. My bookshelf has always a section of american style and now that my birthday is coming I made myself a gift. It's beautiful, very carefully and concisious edited with a very well chosen photos and full of healthy and varied recipes.

 

Como se nota en casa que ha venido mi madre y ha puesto orden :) ya tenemos plancha, sartenes nuevas, la cocina con todo en su sitio, todo en cestitos etc. Además dejó huella de su visita y me regaló este libro. Fuimos a ver la librería de Armani, donde tienen montones de libros de moda, arte, fotografía, arquitectura... y me compró "Il Mondo di Coco Chanel" (Lección de vida y estilo de la mujer más elegante de todos los tiempos). Tiene unas frases geniales. Tengo muchísimas ganas de aprender italiano y poder leerlo entero, ahora sólo me entero a medias :)

Mum has been here and it is noticed at home. We already have iron, new pans, a tidy kitche all in little baskets etc. She also left constance of her visit and she gave me this book. We went to see Armani's bookstore, there are lots of  fashion, art, photography, architecture books...she bought me "Il Mondo di Coco Chanel" (Lesson of life and style of the most elegant woman ever). It has some great quotes. I want to learn Italian to be able to read everything :)

Este verano no hago más que fijarme. Desde que vi las uñas doradas de mi amiga Laura me apasiona este color. Suelo visitar el blog de belleza en el que participa Lauren Conrad, The Beauty Departmet, y también he visto allí diferentes formas de pintar las uñas usando dorado y otras combinaciones.
Especialmente me gusta con nude, rosa, blanco y negro.
Si no conocíais el Blog de Lauren os lo recomiendo. Me gusta mucho su estilo y las ideas que tiene. Hablan sobre de tips de belleza, DIY, peinados etc.
Tengo su libro "Style" y de vez en cuando le echo un ojo. Ayer que lo estaba mirando y por eso se me ocurrió esto.

This summer I have noticed it so many times. Since I saw the golden nails of my friend Laura I love this color. I often visit the Lauren Conrad & friends beauty blog, The Beauty Departmet, and I have seen there different ways to paint your nails using gold and mixing it with other colors.
I especially like golden with nude, pink, white and black.
If you did not know about the Lauren's Blog I hardly recommend it. I really like hes style and ideas. They talk about beauty tips, DIYs, hairstyles ...
I have his book "Style" and occasionally I leaf throgh. Yesterday I was seeing it for fun and that's why I wondered about it.

 Pretendo ir a más de las exposiciones que FotoEspaña tiene repartidas por Madrid, pero ésta fue la primera que visité. Está dentro del Jardín Botánico en el pabellón de exposiciones.
Me encanta la fotografía  pero lo que realmente me impactó fue la tienda de libros. Encontrabas de todo! libros de fotografía artística, de moda... Hice varias fotos para que lo viéseis.

I intend to go over more of the  exhibitions that FotoEspaña has spread in Madrid, but this was the first one I visited. It is within the Botanical Gardens, at the exhibition hall. I love photography and this collection was pretty good  but what really struck me was the book store. You can found there it all! art photography,  fashion books... I made several pictures for you.

Since I was little my father took me to the Book Fair for a walk in the Retiro, and he bought me a book and some chips. This year, despite my exams, when I was comming back from the library I passed nearby and I could not resist. It was already the last day of the fair and I walked around to clear my head a to have a little memories. The atmosphere was very nice and you could find the whole city assembled there buying books. Also there are snackbars, authors signing books, activities ...
