LONDON TRAVEL GUIDE | DAY 4| ABBEY ROAD, LITTLE VENICE, JAPAN HOUSE & SCONES

El cuatro día, a pesar de las fotos que veis, nos hizo un tiempo horrible, lo que pasa que aprovecho los ratos de sol para hacer fotos (por eso hay tan pocas fotos de hoy), eso si, fue un día de muchas anécdotas.
Por la mañana hicimos brunch en un sitio por South Kensington que tenéis que ir, Muriel's Kitchen. El sitio es una monada y se desayuna super bien.
Después fumos a Abby Road porque nos hacía ilusión ver la zona y hacernos una foto en el paso de peatones de los Beatles. Fue imposible. Mirad que yo aguanto para hacer fotos, espero a que se despeje un poco la zona, no me importa esperar, pero no hubo manera. Desistimos completamente, se me quitaron las ganas de la foto al tercer intento, a si que nos fuimos.
The last day, despite the photos you see, the weather was horrible, I took photos just when the sun came out (that's why there are a few photos of that day), but it was a day of many anecdotes .
In the morning we had brunch at a place in South Kensington that you have to go, Muriel's Kitchen. The place is cute and you have a great brunch.
Then we went to Abby Road because we were excited to see the area and take a picture at the Beatles pedestrian crossing. It was impossible. Look, I can stand to take pictures, I wait the area clears a bit, I do not mind waiting, but there was no way. We gave up completely, the idea of the photo gone away from my mind so fast.

Pasemos por Little Venice, una zona donde hay unos canales muy bonitos con barcos. Allí descubrimos un invernadero que era una cafetearía preciosa y además tenia un vivero para comprar todo tipo de plantas. El paraíso de Miki.
We walked around Little Venice, an area where there are some beautiful canals with boats. There we discovered a greenhouse that was a lovely coffee shop and also had agreenhouse to buy all kinds of plants. Miki's paradise.
Pero la anécdota del día fue sin duda la de La Casa de Japón. Fuimos para resguardarnos de la lluvia, aprovechamos y vimos la exposición de telas y colores que tenían y recorrimos la tienda que tiene todo tipo de cosas super delicadas y preciosas.
Pero la mejor experiencia del viaje fue el baño de La Casa de Japón. Sabréis que uno de los mayores placeres de la vida es encontrar, tras un día largo de turismo pasando frío, un baño reluciente. Pero eso no es todo, la taza del váter estaba caliente. De verdad ese momento fue una experiencia vital. Y no sólo eso, el maravilloso váter TOTO ofrecía todo tipo de chorros de agua y experiencias que en Europa todavía no conocemos. Yo no me atreví a probarlas pero me maravilló aquel baño inteligente. Merece la pena vivir la experiencia.
But the best anecdote of the trip was undoubtedly the one at the Japan House. We went there to protect ourselves from the rain, we saw the fabrics and colors exhibition and we went through the store that has all kinds of super delicate and beautiful item.
But the best experience was the toilets. You might know that one of the greatest pleasures of life is to find, after a long and cold day of tourism, a sparkling toilet. But that's not all, the wc was also warm when you sit. Truly that moment was a vital experience. And also the wonderful TOTO offered all kinds of water springs and experiences that in Europe we still do not know. I did not dare to try them but I was marveled with that smart bathroom. You should live the experience.
Ningún día perdonamos el scone de la tarde. Me encantaba desayunar fuerte y aguantar hasta la merienda para coger el scone con ganas. Es una especie de bollo que no está muy dulce que se come abierto por la mitad y lo más típico es acompañarlo de mermelada de fresa o frutos rojos y crema cottage, que es una crema de mascarpone y nata. Increíble. He aprendido a hacerlos, en cuanto vine a Madrid los hicimos y me quedaron riquísimos.
Everyday we had our the scone in the afternoon. I loved to have a strong breakfast and hold up the the scone time. It is a kind of bun that is not very sweet that is eaten open in half and the most typical is with strawberry or raspberry jam and cottage cream, which is a cream made of mascarpone and cream. It is delicious. I learned how to make them as soon as I came to Madrid.
And that was it. It was a trip that I did not expect to like so much. The city of London was amazing to me, maybe because I did not had high expectations. I know it is a destination where I will return if I have the chance.
