Una de las cosas que más viste una habitación es un cabecero. Puede llegar a ser el protagonista absoluto, una obra de arte. Personalmente me encantan los de madera, los tallados o las cosas antiguas rescatadas. No me gustan mucho los que son acolchados, prefiero que sea un cabecero diferente, algo especial, que no sea hecho específicamente para ello. 
Puertas antiguas, carpinterías sin uso, un trozo de madera, una repisa, un tapiz, un cuadro...solo hay que encontrar aquello que quieras que de carácter al dormitorio.

One of the things that dresses a room is a headboard. It can become the absolute protagonist, a piece of art. Personally I love the wood carvings and antique things rescued. I am not really a fan of the padded ones, I prefer a different headboard, something special that is not made specifically for it.
Antique doors, joinery unused, a piece of wood, a shelf, a tapestry, a picture ... just find what you want to characterize the bedroom.

Típico día que abro el armario y a pesar de estar hasta los topes estoy totalmente convencida de que no hay absolutamente nada que ponerme. Entonces recurro a lo infalible, vaqueros y una camiseta blanca, nunca falla, mis sandalias azules con las que podría caminar hasta el infinito y un clutch que le de el toque especial al outfit. No more! ahí lo tenéis :)

Typical day that I open the closet and despite being crowded I am totally convinced that there is absolutely nothing to wear. Then I take to the infallible, jeans and a white shirt, it never fails, my blue sandals that I walk to infinity on them and a clutch that gives a special touch to the outfit. No more! there it  is :)

Hay veces que parece que el mundo a tu alrededor lleva un ritmo que no consigues alcanzar, que todo va muy deprisa y tu muy despacio. Hay veces que desconectas y cuando vuelves es como si te chocaras con la realidad. Tanta información al alcance que no das abasto, tanto por hacer que nunca empiezas. Cuando me siento así tengo que pegar un sprint, subirme como sea a ese tren de alta velocidad y volver a coger el ritmo. Si año nuevo es tiempo de propósitos personales y de mejorar, septiembre es el mes de superarse, de los nuevos retos y de los cambios de perspectiva.

Sometimes it seems the world around have a rithim that you can reach, that all goes very quickly and you go slowly. There are times when you disconnect and the you crash with reality. There's so much information available that you can not deal with everything, so much to make and you never start. When I feel like this I have to sprint, that climb to that high speed rail and pick up the pace again. If New Year is time for personal purposes and improving yourself, September is for overcoming, new challenges and  perspective.

Ayer pude asistir al desfile de ENTRAMADOS&DUYOS en la MFSHOW WOMEN donde se expusieron los trabajos realizados por los alumnos de Diseño de Moda del ESNE (Escuela Universitaria de Diseño, Innovación y Tecnología de Madrid). Fue un desfile súper especial. Había prendas de todo tipo y outfits muy distintos. Todo era posible: verano, invierno, formal, casual, estampados, transparencias...
Unas veces parecía que sólo habían juntado un par de telas que sobraban por ahí y el resultado casualmente había sido estupendo. Otras veces se veían formas diseñadas y súper pensadas. En cualquiera de los dos casos se notaba el trabajo que había detrás. No es fácil hacer que un par de telas que no tienen nada que ver formen una prenda equilibrada y que siente bien, el verdadero arte es parecer que todo ha sido casual. Al igual que no es fácil conseguir desmontar la figura de la mujer estrechando algunas zonas y ensanchando otras para potenciar su feminidad. Aprendí mucho gracias a los estudiantes que participaron. Enhorabuena por vuestro trabajo.

Yesterday I attended the ENTRAMADOS&DUYOS show at the  MFSHOW WOMEN where the work done by the students of Fashion Design ESNE (School of Design, Innovation and Technology, Madrid) were exposed. It was a super special fashion show. There were all kinds of garments and outfits very different. Everything was possible: summer, winter, formal, casual, prints, transparencies ...

Sometimes it looked like they had just put together a couple of fabrics that left there and the result had coincidentally been great. Other times the forms seems very designed and thought. In either case the work behind it showed. It is not easy to make a couple of fabrics that have nothing to do form a balanced garment and look nice at the same time, the true art is to get the casual appearance. Neither is easy to remove the woman figure shaking some areas and expanding others to enhance their femininity. I learned a lot from the students who participated. Congratulations for your work.
