El 30 de Junio inauguraron en el Museo Thyssen Bornemisza la exposición de fotografía Vogue Like a Painting. En el Thyssen suelen hacer exposiciones de este tipo de vez en cuando y reune a amantes del arte, de la moda y de la fotografía. Esta vez eran fotos de los archivos de VOGUE inspiradas en cuadros conocidos. Fotografos actuales como Patrick Demarchelier, Mario Testino, Annie Leibovitz, Tim Walker, Paolo Roversi etc. recreaban las escenas en la playa de Sorolla, las tres gracias, o el estilo de Zurbarán, Gauguin, Dalí, y Hopper entre otros.
Está hasta el 12 de octubre, si tenéis tiempo os recomiendo que vayáis a verla porque es preciosa.
Para los que no podáis ir tengo algunas fotos que hice para que por lo menos tengáis una idea de la exposición y veáis el estilo de la fotografía.
On June 30 the Thyssen Bornemisza Museum inaugurated a photography exhibition called Vogue Like a Painting.This museum offers such exhibitions from time to time and it brings together art lovers, fashionistas and photography amateurs. This time there were photos from the archives of VOGUE inspired by famous paintings. Current photographers such as Patrick Demarchelier, Mario Testino, Annie Leibovitz, Tim Walker, Paolo Roversi etc. recreated the beach scenes of Sorolla, the Three Graces, or the Zurbarán, Gauguin, Dali, and Hopper and others styles.
It is up to the October 12th, if you have time I recommend you to go to see it because it's gorgeous.
For the ones that can not go I took some pictures to at least have an idea of the exhibition and the style of photography.
