Ayer fue la presentación de la nueva colección de pintauñas OPI de este verano. Después de salir de clase Elena y yo fuimos directas a la azotea del Hotel Only You que por un momento se convirtió en una playa. La colección esta e inspirada en Brasil y tiene doce colores preciosos. Unos tonos más neón y otros más apagados. Cestos de mimbre personalizados, chanclas Ipanema de todos los tipos, cócteles y una manicura muy veraniega. Veo que no soy la única que se ha inspirado en este ambiente tropical esta temporada. Cuando presente este año el proyecto que tengo lleno de palmeras y muy a lo Palm Springs, lo haré con una manicura muy a la altura.

Yesterday was the presentation of the new OPI nail lacquer collection for this summer. After leaving college Elena and I went straight to Hotel Only You top terrace that became a beach for a moment. The collection is inspired in Brazil and has twelve beautiful colors. A few of them in neon tones and others in pale ones. Custom wicker baskets, Ipanema flip flops of all types, cocktails and a very summery manicure. I see I'm not the only one inspired by this tropical environment this season. When I have to present my final project this year, all full of palms, I will make it with a manicure quite measure up.

Ya he sacado la ropa de verano. Abrigos fuera y bienvenidas las cuñas, los estampados marineros, los cestos de mimbre, las gafas de colores, los pintalabios de colores alegres... Llegan los días largos, las noches de terracitas, las bebidas refrescantes, las tardes de piscina...pero antes de eso me esperan dos semanas de encierro. Acabo el curso dentro de nada y eso significa que tengo que entregar miles de cosas y examinarme de mis últimas asignaturas. Aunque no pueda hacer todos los planes que me gustaría y mirando fuera te apetece todo menos estudiar, siempre es más agradable hacerlo si el sol entra por la ventana y en los descansos puedes salir al jardín.

I've taken out summer clothes. Coats away and welcome wedges, navy prints, wicker baskets, colored sunnies, brightly colored lipsticks ... Here comes long days, nights terraces, soft drinks, afternoons in the pool ... but before that I have two weeks of study. The therm is almost finished and that means I have to deliver thousands of things and took my exams. Although I can't make all the plans I'd like to and looking out you fancy anything but study, it is always nice to do it with the sun comming through the window and doing the breaks in the garden.

Por las mañanas la prenda estrella es el bikini, pero cuando se pone el sol todo el mundo sale al paseo marítimo de punta en blanco. Es como en verano, se me está haciendo raro porque parecen unas minivacaciones. Hay menos gente pero esta todo igual, parece agosto. En Galicia por la tarde siempre suele refrescar así que pantalones y manga larga e incluso un jersey para después.

In the morning the star clothe is the bikini, but when the sun sets everyone go out to the promenade with so fancy. It's like in summer, it is weird because it seems like a kind of mini-vacation. There are less people but it seems like August. Here in Galicia, hen the afternoon comes it is always colder so pants and long sleeves are required and even a sweater later.

Cada poco tiempo el cuerpo me pide playa y estos días que teníamos fiesta no me lo pensé. En Galicia daban buen tiempo y estoy aquí unos días disfrutando de la playa vacía que tenemos debajo de casa. Es la mejor manera de reponer fuerzas. A pesar de haber estado fuera en Semana Santa y haberme tomado un descanso, las semanas de después han sido un no parar así que aquí estoy sin preocupaciones y disfrutando del sol hasta el lunes.

From time to time the body needs some beach time and this days I have no class I didn't think about it. They said Galicia will have sun this days so here I am enjoying the seaside. This is the best way to charge my energies. Despite been out on easter those last weeks had been hard so this break is perfect. No worrys, just laying under the sun.

Otra de las propuestas para un outfit de largo. El azul marino siempre sienta genial y el print le da un toque especial. Para las tardes de verano es un color precioso. Me gusta la caída de este vestido, es de una tela muy fina y agradable y cuando vas andando se mueve y hace muy bonito. Al ser tan sencillo vale también para un look más normal con sandalias planas o unas bailarinas metalizadas.

Another long dress proposal. Navy blue always looks great and the print gives it a special touch. It is a lovely color for summer evenings. I like the fall of the dress is a very thin fabric and when you walk it moves and looks very nice. Being so simple also applies to a more normal outfit with a metallic flat sandals or a ballerinas look.

Ahora que he vuelto a la rutina me pongo a pensar en aquello con lo que me gusta ocupar mi tiempo libre. Qué es lo que verdaderamente me llena. Sin duda conocer un poquito más de mundo cada vez que puedo es mi mejor plan. Aunque no sea un sitio nuevo me gusta irme de vez en cuando a otro sitio, cambiar de ires. Acabo de volver de Semana Santa y ya estoy pensando en la playa para este fin de semana que tenemos puente. Es que cada viaje es especial. Son recuerdos que valen más que nada y son momentos que se te quedan grabados a fuego. Cada vez que veo las fotos de instagram, captando cada uno de esos momentos viajando, me doy cuenta de que no hace falta irse muy lejos para encontrar cosas alucinantes.

Now I'm back to the routine I start to think how I really like to spend my free time. Which is what makes me truly full. Definitely knowing a little more of world whenever I can is my best plan. It has not to be somewhere new necessarily, I like to go from time to time elsewhere, change my atmosphere. I'm just back from Easter and I'm already thinking about going to the beach this weekend we have a holiday. Every trip is special. That brings you memories that are better than anything you can buy . Every time I see my instagram photos, capturing each of those moments traveling, I realize you do not need to go far away to find amazing views.

Esta semana os traigo un par de opciones de vestidos largos. Empiezan las graduaciones y las fiestas de verano y esta es una buena opción.
Los colores empolvados siempre quedan bien época y aunque para por la tarde siempre pensemos en colores más oscuros, los claros también quedas bien y llaman mucho la atención. Mi me gusta darles contraste con un collar un poco más oscuro, un complemento más de noche, pero en los mismos tonos. Los zapatos altos, especiales, abiertos y muy veraniegos para acompañar al vestido.

This week I bring you a couple of options for long dress outfit. It's time for graduations and summer parties and this is a good choice.
Dusty colors always look good and although in the evening we always think of darker colors I also like the light ones because they catch lot of attention. I like to add them a slightly darker necklace, something elegant for the night, but in the same tones. High heels, a special pair, open and very summery. Great shoes to accompany the dress.
