"Some days you feel like wearing heels"

Semana de lluvia en Milán. Normalmente los días así me bajan el animo y lo único que me apetece es quedarme en casa. Aquí ya me estoy acostumbrando, llueve demasiado y no es plan de quedarse en pijama todo el día. Además quería estrenar la nueva falda que me ha llegado  :) #loveit. Siempre apuesto por la combinación negro y leopardo sea falda o pantalón. Para mí estos botines son un must.

It's a rainy week here. Usually this kind of days make my mood goes down, and all I want is to stay home. Here I'm getting used to, it rains too much and I won't stay in my pajama the whole day. I also wanted to wear this new skirt #loveit :). I always bet on the black and leopard combination no matter skirt or pants. And for me this booties are a must.

Just twenty days and I'll be back home :) There's a lot I want to do when I am there again with all the people I love around because you know how cool are homecomings. This year I'm in the christmas mood more than ever. I don't know why but I'm excited of being back for christmas.

El otro día una chica, también blogger (Misha from SienaStyle), se puso en contacto conmigo para ir a tomar un café. Quedamos en "Il Bar" en lo alto de La Rinascente. Me habían hablado de este sitio y tenía ganas de conocerlo pero nunca había encontrado ocasión. Me gustó muchísimo  Tiene una terraza desde donde se ve lo alto del Duomo y  la decoración es muy bonita. Es un café muy agradable. Puedo añadir a mi lista "Cappuccinos that I've tried" el de la Rinascente. Pasamos un rato muy agradable y por fin conozco a otra blogger aquí :)

The other day a girl, also blogger (Misha from SienaStyle), contacted me to meet eachother and go for a coffee. We were to "Il Bar" at the top of La Rinascente. I have heard about this place and I wanted to know it but I never had the chance. I liked it very much. It has a terrace where you can see the top of the Duomo and also the decor is really nice. Now I can add to my "that I've tried Cappuccinos" list the Rinascente. We had a great time and finally I know another blogger around here :)

Esos días en los que la moda no sólo se trata de ver modelitos en blogs o revistas. Cuando quieres inspiración de verdad y te pasas tardes enteras en Tumblr buscando imágenes que digan mucho con muy poco.
Recomiendo mucho BLACK TREE. Es totalmente conceptual y tiene unas imágenes que hacen que, ( o por lo menos a mi me pasa) te quedes unos segundos mirándolas detenidamente.


Those days when fashion is not just about seeing outfits in blogs or in magazines. When you need inspiration for real and you spend the entire afternoon on Tumblr looking for some images that say a lot with very little.
I highly recommend BLACK TREE. It is entirely conceptual and the images makes you (or at least I do)  stay a few seconds looking at them carefully.

Colores claros en invierno. Me parece que queda genial y aquí lo he visto mucho. El otro día recibí este abrigo blanco de Romwe. En otro momento a lo mejor me habría planteado si tenerlo o no porque es muy delicado, pero estando en Milán definitivamente sí :) y no me arrepiento

There's one thing Ithat I love:  wear light colors in winter, looks great and people here wear them a lot. The other day I received this white coat form Romwe. It's something that on an another time maybe I wouldn't have because it is very delicate, but being in Milan the answer is definitely yes :) and no regrets.

Primera fiesta en casa desde que estoy en Milán y no salió nada mal. Me encantan este tipo de planes y más si hay cócteles de por medio. Antes de nada me metí en youtube para ver como se hacia exactamente un cóctel y no poner cara de pocker al ver los mil aparatos que trae la coctelera... Aprendí a hacer cosmopolitans y la verdad es que me salieron riquísimos (muy Carrie Bradshaw todo). Estuvimos haciendo mezclas y probando todo lo que venía en el pack de Ladbrokes. Mi mesa parecía la barra de un bar. Las pajitas de frutas daban un toque especial a las copas y las cartas de 007 triunfaron. Hacía mucho que no organizaba un plan así: cócteles, música y de after party la película de Casino Royale.

First party at home since I'm here in Milan and nothing came out wrong. I love this type of plans and if there are cocktails involved much better. First of all I went on youtube to see how to do exactly a cocktail and not to put a pocker face when I found mysel in front of the thousand devices that the shaker brings ... I learned how to make cosmopolitans and the truth is that it was delicious (so Carrie Bradshawl). We made some mixtures and tryed everything that came in the Ladbrokes' pack. My table looked like a bar. The fruit straws were so lovely and gave a special touch to the drinks and the 007 deck of cards was a hit. There is so long since I last organized something like that, cocktails, music and for the after party the Casino Royale movie.
